In the 2019-2020 Waipahu High School boys’ soccer season, the Marauders had a 7-7-0 overall record. With a 2-0 win against the McKinley Tigers, the Marauders made it to the OIA Division II Championships on February 1 against Aiea High School’s Na Alii. The varsity team, however, lost to Aiea with a score of 1-2 and lost the last two games of the semifinals against Hawaii Prep and PAC-5. Senior varsity player Dylan Alejo, who has played soccer throughout his high school career, summarized the season by saying, “We had an excellent goalkeeper this year, a pretty good team, and I’m proud that we played as one.”
