As Homecoming week is nearing, each class council came out with their cheer for Arthur Awards 2024.
The Arthur Awards cheer is part of a significant Homecoming tradition at Waipahu High School. All grade levels compete against each other with their friendly cheers.
Every school year, all the members of each class council come up with a new cheer to represent their grade level. Along with the cheer, they also come up with new gear that students can wear during the week of homecoming.
Each class practices their cheer every week in their designated place, and the cheers show the harmony of each grade.
The seniors had their first mass practice last week, determined to give it their all to win Arthur Awards 2024. With their class council members teaching every senior the steps to the cheer, everyone was very eager to learn and show off their teamwork.
On the actual day of Arthurs Award, after all cheers and classes are represented, the students will show their Marauder spirit and become one by singing the Alma Mater.
As a we get closer to the day, let’s remember to have a wonderful and memorable Homecoming week!
Be sure to respect each class level. We are all Marauders, so show your Marauder pride and make this year a memorable one!.
